# Lovndry Terms of Service

> These Terms govern your use of Lovndry’s website, waitlist, booking tools, messaging, and laundry pickup & delivery services (“Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

## 1) Who can use Lovndry

You must be *18 or older** and able to form a contract.

You agree to provide *accurate information** and keep your contact, address, and payment details up to date.

You consent to receive *service messages** by SMS/email. (Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts; message/data rates may apply.)

## 2) What we do

* Standard service: wash, dry, and fold household laundry.

* Add-ons (optional, extra fee): spot & stain treatment, hang-dry requests, bulky items (e.g., towels, sheets, comforters, washable rugs, dog beds).

* Turnaround: same-day return is available for pickups scheduled before 9:00 AM when capacity and conditions allow; otherwise next-day is standard. Turnaround times are targets, not guarantees and may shift due to volume, weather, or access issues.

## 3) Scheduling, access & preparation

Choose a *weekly pickup window** and place your bag(s) at the designated spot before the window starts.

If we cannot access the pickup/delivery location or the bag is not present, we may *skip** the stop and apply a missed-pickup fee.

* Label your bag(s). Please empty pockets; we’re not responsible for damage caused by items left inside (e.g., pens, lighters, makeup, gum, coins).

We may *refuse or return** orders that include hazardous/unsanitary items (e.g., solvents, fuel, bodily fluids, bed bugs, heavy pet hair infestation, mold). A decontamination fee may apply if such items are discovered after pickup.

For oversized or heavy bags, we may limit each bag’s *weight** for team safety and equipment protection.

## 4) Care instructions & quality

We follow *care labels** where present and reasonable. If an item lacks a label or the request conflicts with the label, you authorize us to use best judgment and accept the associated risk.

* Color bleeding, shrinkage, minor wear, and set-in stains can occur. Spot treatment is not included unless added as a paid service and cannot guarantee removal.

If you are not satisfied, contact us within *24 hours** of delivery so we can inspect and, where appropriate, re-clean the item(s). Re-cleaning is the usual remedy.

## 5) Pricing, membership & payments

Prices are listed at checkout and may vary by plan, volume, add-ons, and location. *Taxes/fees** may apply.

* Memberships renew automatically on a monthly basis until canceled. By starting a membership or trial, you authorize recurring charges to your saved payment method.

* Free/discounted trials or promotions (e.g., “First Load Free”) apply to standard wash-dry-fold only and are one per household, non-transferable, and subject to eligibility and capacity limits.

You may *cancel or pause** anytime before the next billing date in your account or by contacting us; we don’t prorate partial billing cycles unless required by law.

If a payment fails, we may retry, notify you, and place the account on hold until updated (*dunning**). Unpaid balances may pause service.

## 6) Loss & damage policy (limitation of liability)

We take care with every order. If Lovndry is responsible for loss or damage, our liability is limited to the lesser of:

1. the actual purchase price (with proof),

2. the reasonable depreciated value, or

3. \$200 per order in total.

We are not liable for:

* Pre-existing damage, normal wear/aging, weak fabrics, or items processed against care labels;

* Items left in pockets; loose accessories (e.g., belts, strings), decorations, or buttons;

* Minor cosmetic issues (wrinkles, light pilling) that are customary to laundering.

Unmarked high-value or special-care items should not be placed in standard bags. Please alert us in advance.

## 7) Unclaimed items

If we cannot deliver due to incorrect contact info or lack of access, we will hold items and attempt contact for 30 days. After that, we may donate the items to charity as permitted by law.

## 8) Communications

* Operational texts/emails (e.g., reminders, scheduling, delivery notices) are part of the service.

* Marketing texts are optional; reply STOP to opt out.

## 9) Website & intellectual property

All content on our site and materials (logos, graphics, text) is owned by Lovndry or licensed to us and may not be copied or used without permission.

## 10) Prohibited uses

You will not misuse the Services, interfere with operations, attempt to access others’ accounts/data, or use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

## 11) Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

## 12) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lovndry and its owners/employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to the Services. Our total aggregate liability is limited as set out in Section 6.

## 13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lovndry from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

## 14) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive venue of the state courts located in Denton County, Texas (or small-claims court, where applicable).

## 15) Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the revised Terms with an updated date, and changes take effect when posted. If a change is material, we’ll provide additional notice (e.g., email/SMS or on-site notice).
